Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our fast‑growing pizza brand in Mumbai. You will support day‑to‑day financial operations across multiple outlets, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and compliance with GST regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily accounting transactions in Tally, including sales, purchases, vendor bills and expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliations and track payments.
• Manage cash and settlement records from food‑delivery aggregators such as Swiggy and Zomato.
• Maintain invoices, bills and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing GST data and support compliance activities.
• Reconcile vendor ledgers and follow up on outstanding items.
• Handle outlet‑level accounting entries and stock‑related postings.
• Coordinate with operations teams to obtain necessary documentation and approvals.
• Support the Senior Accountant and CFO with MIS reporting.
• Perform basic administrative and finance coordination tasks.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurant, QSR, retail or FMCG environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple outlets or accounts systematically.
• Honest, reliable, organized and process‑driven.
• Eager to learn and grow within a scaling food brand.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of GST and general accounting principles.
