Junior Accountant – Immediate Joiner – Thane

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Thane immediately. The role supports daily accounting operations, prepares management information system (MIS) reports and assists in tracking project‑related expenses. You will work closely with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and post daily transactions in Tally ERP, including purchases, sales, journals, payments and receipts.
• Prepare and update regular MIS reports for management review.
• Monitor project‑wise expenses, compare budgeted versus actual costs and report variances.
• Verify and check supporting documents, coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for utilization certificates.
• Maintain vouchers, filing system and ensure statutory compliance.
• Conduct physical site visits when required to validate expenses.
• Liaise with internal teams to provide timely accounting and project updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Tally ERP and basic understanding of MIS reporting and budgeting.
• Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements in India.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
