Junior Accountant (Export & Finance)

About the role

We are a growing export‑oriented organization seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounts team. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting, statutory compliance, and export‑related financial processes in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day accounting records, journal entries, payment entries, receipts, and contra transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Handle import and export‑related banking documentation, foreign remittance transactions, and Bank Realisation Certificates (BRC).
• Coordinate with banks for export payments, inward remittances, and related documentation.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll and maintain employee salary records.
• Prepare data for GST returns, ensure timely compliance, and handle TDS calculations and filings.
• Assist in Income Tax compliance and maintain related documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Generate MIS and financial reports as required by management.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, TDS, payroll, and Income Tax.
• Experience in import‑export accounting, export‑related banking, foreign remittances, and BRC documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally, Busy or other accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Prior audit experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
