Jr. Production Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Vadodara. The role supports daily production operations, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and supervise daily production activities.
• Track machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Prepare daily production reports using ERP and Google Sheets.
• Update production data, manage inventory and monitor raw‑material consumption.
• Collaborate with Quality, Stores and Planning departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company procedures.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects to boost productivity.
• Train and guide machine operators on processes and work instructions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in vacuum thermoforming, plastic packaging or a related manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of vacuum thermoforming processes and production planning.
• Experience working with ERP software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry and reporting.
• Good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.
