Jewelry Designer – Fine & Fashion Jewelry

About the role

Gems Paradise is seeking a full‑time Jewelry Designer to work on‑site in Jaipur. You will collaborate closely with artisans and production teams to create original fine and fashion jewelry collections that reflect the brand’s heritage and contemporary aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design sketches, detailed drawings, and CAD models for new jewelry concepts.
• Research current trends, materials, and techniques to inform design direction.
• Prepare technical specifications and production‑ready documentation.
• Partner with gem selectors and craftsmen to ensure designs are feasible, structurally sound, and meet luxury quality standards.
• Maintain organized design files and support collection development.
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders to refine designs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in luxury, fine jewelry, or heritage craft houses is an advantage.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with artisans and internal teams on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drawing and product design documentation.
• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) skills for rendering and detailing.
• Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry manufacturing techniques, especially traditional processes.
