Jewellery Sales Associate

About the role

Shaar Gold, a contemporary fine‑gold jewellery brand, is opening its first retail store in Pune. We are looking for a friendly, confident Jewellery Sales Associate to welcome customers, understand their needs and guide them to the right pieces.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a warm, premium store atmosphere.
• Identify customer preferences and recommend jewellery based on style, occasion, budget and usage.
• Explain product details such as gold purity, karat, weight, pricing, hallmarking and care instructions.
• Assist first‑time gold buyers, providing clear information to build confidence.
• Manage the complete sales process from browsing to billing, including basic billing system usage and WhatsApp follow‑ups.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, store cleanliness and product displays.
• Record customer preferences, enquiries and feedback, and follow up as needed.
• Support store events, product launches and other customer‑engagement activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in jewellery retail sales.
• Strong knowledge of gold jewellery, including purity, karat and pricing.
• Polite, well‑groomed and presentable with a warm, non‑pushy sales approach.
• Excellent communication in English and Hindi; Marathi is a plus.
• Patient, proactive, detail‑oriented and service‑minded.
• Willingness to work weekends and mall hours.

Required skills

• Basic familiarity with retail billing systems.
• Comfort with WhatsApp follow‑ups and simple customer data entry.
