About the role
We are looking for a motivated Java Developer to join our core engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain high‑performance, scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with product managers, architects, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Java/J2EE applications and microservices following OOP and SOLID principles.
- Develop RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and event‑driven messaging systems.
- Participate in architectural discussions, system design reviews, and integration with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
- Collaborate with DevOps to create and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and deploy containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Monitor application health using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk.
Required profile
- Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 11/17/21) and multithreading, concurrency, collections, and streams.
- Hands‑on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security, Cloud).
- Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL optimisation, and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA, MyBatis).
- Experience with microservices architecture, API design (OpenAPI/Swagger), and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ).
