Java Developer – Core Java, Multithreading, SQL & Spring Boot

About the role

Synechron is looking for a Java Developer to design, build and maintain scalable enterprise applications and micro‑services. The role focuses on Core Java, multithreading, database design, SQL and Spring Boot to deliver secure, high‑performing solutions for regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications and micro‑services using Spring Boot.
• Implement concurrent solutions with multithreading and advanced Java collections.
• Create and optimise relational database schemas, stored procedures and SQL queries.
• Develop, document and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance and ensure secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA teams and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional Java development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, micro‑services, REST APIs and multithreading.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL optimisation and database design.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated sectors is a plus.

• Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
• Apache Kafka (preferred)
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (preferred)
• OpenAPI/Swagger, application monitoring tools
