About the role
OMS Software is looking for a solid Java backend developer in Bengaluru to build and scale the core OMS platform, which powers job management, test reporting, calibration tracking and NABL-compliant workflows for hundreds of accredited labs. The work involves real-world problems where correctness is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for core OMS modules such as job management, reporting, calibration and compliance
- Write clean, well-tested, production-ready Java code using Spring Boot
- Optimise database queries and data models for performance and traceability
- Collaborate with frontend developers and domain specialists to deliver complete features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Maintain and improve existing services with a focus on reliability and scalability
