IT Technician

About the role

The IT Technician is the first point of contact for employee technology support at Brivo. You will deliver timely assistance across devices, operating systems, SaaS applications, and workplace technology in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, OS and workplace technology issues.
• Administer Google Workspace – user provisioning, access management, troubleshooting and security.
• Support business‑critical SaaS tools such as Salesforce, Zulip and other cloud platforms.
• Manage company devices via Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Configure, deploy and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding – account creation, device setup and asset tracking.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Linux OS problems and assist with software installations.
• Diagnose basic network connectivity issues (VPN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Prioritise and resolve help‑desk tickets according to service levels.
• Document issues and solutions to enrich the internal knowledge base.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Support IT security and compliance by following established policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, Desktop Support or similar roles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
