IT System Administrator III

About the role

We are looking for an IT System Administrator III to manage and support our enterprise server infrastructure. The role involves maintaining Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services and ensuring high availability of critical ERP applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of server operating systems, hardware and software.
• Install, configure, upgrade and de‑commission servers following lifecycle processes.
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage systems.
• Troubleshoot application, OS and connectivity issues, including ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Use tools like vCenter, SolarWinds, Active Directory consoles and PowerShell for monitoring and administration.
• Collaborate with vendor support to resolve escalated software problems.
• Document configurations, procedures and identify optimization opportunities.
• Configure alerts, generate performance reports and respond to incidents per SLA.
• Work with security teams to apply patches, remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Provide Level 3 support, perform root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.

Required profile

• Strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience supporting data‑center and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting tools for automation.
