IT Support Engineer I – Ops Tech Solutions Delivery

About the role

Amazon Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) delivers nonstop global IT support to Amazon Operations. As an IT Support Engineer I you will implement technical solutions and provide high‑quality support for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications across a defined geographic area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local technical projects and drive their successful delivery.
• Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes to improve service quality.
• Identify root‑causes of operational issues and address process inefficiencies.
• Support global customers remotely, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution.
• Travel within the local or regional area to assist customers on‑site as needed.

Required profile

• 4+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering IT client, server, and network services.
• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi‑user, high‑availability environment.
• 2+ years of PC repair, deployment, and liquidation experience.

Required skills

• DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP.
• Windows Server administration (AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM).
• PC hardware repair and troubleshooting.
• Support for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Corporate network environment maintenance.
• Video conference and teleconference equipment support (preferred).
