IT Support Engineer I

About the role

Amazon Operations Technology Services (OTS) delivers continuous global IT support to Amazon’s fulfillment network. As an IT Support Engineer I you will apply your technical knowledge to implement solutions and provide high‑quality support for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications across multiple sites in a defined region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform network engineering tasks, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and manage data cabling.
• Administer systems across diverse software and hardware environments.
• Collaborate with management and staff to analyse and improve IT solutions.
• Lead local technical projects and maintain related policies and procedures.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Provide support to customers at multiple sites and remote users, traveling as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
• Experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Windows, macOS and/or Linux in a corporate setting.
