IT & QA Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT & QA Desktop Support professional to manage user accounts, enforce security controls, and provide technical assistance for manufacturing equipment in a regulated environment. The role works closely with both IT and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance and smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify, deactivate, unlock, and reset passwords for user IDs.
• Manage user privileges, access rights, and maintain privilege groups.
• Log and close ITSM tickets, and support SOP preparation and documentation.
• Synchronize date and time on manufacturing equipment and manage recipe data.
• Assist with system backup, restoration, and authorized user list maintenance.
• Apply Windows security controls on manufacturing devices and support audit‑trail reviews.
• Provide user‑management review support for QA teams and assist during software validation.
• Support CAPA, deviation handling, SOP training, and equipment qualification activities.
• Offer technical assistance during machine breakdowns, including admin‑level parameter changes and HMI unlocks.
• Support monthly calibration of moisture analyzers and inkjet printer message editing.

Required profile

• Graduation degree (any field) with strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work in shift operations.
• Good verbal communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and desktop troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of user access management and password policies.
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with SOP documentation and compliance processes (preferred).
• Exposure to pharma or manufacturing IT environments (preferred).
