IT Project Manager (Software)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Project Manager to lead software‑focused projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. The role involves overseeing small to mid‑size initiatives, coordinating resources, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate communications, scheduling, business requirements/gap analysis, and testing.
• Act as the single point of contact for project communications.
• Manage project resources, risks, acceptance criteria, and sign‑offs.
• Ensure high‑quality project documentation is delivered on schedule.
• Schedule and lead team meetings, weekly status reports, and ad‑hoc status meetings.
• Coordinate cross‑disciplinary team members to keep requirements, deadlines, and schedules on track.
• Identify and resolve issues with project team members.
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Establish and execute effective project communication plans.
• Develop user manuals, training materials, and other documentation to enable successful implementation and client hand‑over.
• Conduct post‑project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, design, and practical implementation of IT solutions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use independent judgment to analyze variable factors.
• Strong decision‑making skills in ambiguous situations, requiring minimal direction.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
