IT Finance Project Manager I

About the role

This position serves as an IT Project Manager with specialized expertise in Finance, leading the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives focused on Finance and Corporate Strategy at Momentive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end IT Finance projects, ensuring timely delivery, scope alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Collaborate with global Finance and IT teams to define business requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee system architecture, configuration, and enhancements across ERP platforms, focusing on Finance and Corporate Strategy modules.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating financial processes into functional system designs.
• Support change management, user training, and post‑implementation reviews to ensure adoption and continuous improvement.
• Assist with configuration activities within the ERP Finance module, including product costing, general ledger, cost‑center accounting, and asset accounting.
• Respond to production application and systems problems, providing on‑call support during off‑hours and holidays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 5‑8+ years of experience in Finance or with Finance applications.
• Experience in multiple core finance areas (e.g., manufacturing finance, FP&A, AP, AR, treasury).
• Experience managing, implementing and integrating finance applications such as OneStream, Blackline, reporting tools.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work in virtual, global teams and off/on‑shore models.

Required skills

• ERP Finance module configuration (product costing, general ledger, cost‑center accounting, asset accounting).
• Finance application integration (OneStream, Blackline, reporting).
• Full‑life cycle SDLC development and formal change‑management methodologies.
• Java development and application support (preferred).
