IT Faculty Trainer – Skill Development Project (Behala, Kolkata)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Faculty Trainer to deliver skill‑development courses under a government‑funded project in Behala, Kolkata. The role involves teaching both theoretical concepts and practical hands‑on sessions in computer fundamentals, digital literacy, and web development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and lab sessions covering IT fundamentals, MS Office, Internet applications, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with the approved curriculum.
• Monitor student attendance, performance, and progress, maintaining accurate training documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams for assessments, certifications, and audits.
• Mentor students to enhance employability and ensure successful batch completion.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience as an IT faculty or computer instructor, preferably in government skill‑development projects.
• Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, MS Office, digital literacy, and basic IT concepts.
• Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with government project compliance and training guidelines is an advantage.
