IP Law Specialist

About the role

Join Anaqua's Law team as an IP Law Specialist and become the go‑to expert for the AQX law engine. You will ensure that the platform’s legal data stays accurate and up‑to‑date for customers worldwide, working in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and master all aspects of Anaqua's AQX law engine, which drives IP deadline calculations, workflows, and legal rules.
• Conduct legal research to support quarterly law updates, capturing rule changes across all IP types and jurisdictions globally.
• Provide backup coverage for every stage of the quarterly law‑update process.
• Assist with various law‑related projects, including research, analysis, and ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 2‑3 years of hands‑on IP paralegal or docketing experience covering the full IP lifecycle (patents, industrial designs, trademarks) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical abilities, independent judgment, and a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to prioritize effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Anaqua’s AQX software (bonus).
