iOS Software Development Engineer I

About the role

Swiggy is looking for an iOS Software Development Engineer I to join its consumer mobile team in Bangalore. The role focuses on building and enhancing the iOS application that powers food, grocery and instant delivery services for millions of users across India. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with product, design and backend teams to deliver high‑quality features quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable and robust iOS architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable and reusable code using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Implement new features, enhancements and bug fixes according to project timelines.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise the app for speed and resource efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews, performance profiling and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience in iOS development.
• Strong passion for mobile technology and a track record of delivering high‑quality iOS applications.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
