Investigator Support Assistant

About the role

LabCorp is looking for an Investigator Support Assistant to provide operational support to the Global Investigator Support (GIS) department at its Bangalore office. The role involves coordinating with investigator sites, handling documentation, and ensuring patient safety throughout daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute delegated tasks and provide ongoing operational support to the GIS department.
• Maintain patient safety as a top priority and promptly escalate any concerns.
• Communicate with investigator sites via email or approved channels, following assigned workflows.
• Assist with administrative activities, including preparation of airway bills, shipping documentation, and sample error follow‑up.
• Support investigators with portal access issues and disseminate policy updates.
• Update and maintain accurate site data in internal systems and resolve simple to moderate hold issues.
• Document service failures, collaborate with global teams, and track workflow metrics.
• Participate in mandatory trainings, meetings, and continuous learning initiatives.
