Inventory Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Inventory Controller to own end‑to‑end inventory strategy and execution across our national fulfilment network. This high‑impact role balances growth, availability and profitability while ensuring regulatory compliance in a regulated e‑pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall inventory strategy across all warehouses in India.
• Maintain physical vs. system inventory accuracy, batch segregation, expiry control and regulatory compliance.
• Own the cycle‑count program, improving efficiency through process redesign and technology enablement.
• Design and enforce SOPs for inbound, outbound, transfers and returns.
• Lead audit readiness as the primary contact for internal and external stock audits.
• Reduce inventory loss and shrinkage by tracking damages, expiries, pilferage and process leaks, and driving root‑cause corrective actions.
• Partner with procurement to plan and execute replenishment cycles.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations, logistics, finance and tech teams to align inventory plans with business goals.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain or operations, preferably in e‑commerce or q‑commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Proven experience managing a team of supervisors/managers and overseeing a large contractual blue‑collar workforce in a warehouse setting.
