Interior Site Supervisor

About the role

Orange Elephant Interiors is seeking an Interior Site Supervisor to lead on‑site activities for commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality fit‑out projects in Chennai. You will be the primary point of contact on the construction floor, ensuring that design intent, safety standards, and project timelines are met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily interior fit‑out work and coordinate multiple trades on site.
• Monitor material deliveries, usage, and inventory to avoid delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, issues, and deviations to the Project Manager and design team.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, technical drawings, and safety regulations.
• Resolve on‑site challenges promptly and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support quality‑control processes to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience supervising interior fit‑out or construction sites, preferably on commercial or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior drawings, technical specifications, and construction details.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
