Interior Site Supervisor

About the role

The Interior Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities on interior construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, meet quality standards, and comply with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and effective problem‑solving on the job site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate interior trades such as carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Lead site staff, subcontractors, and laborers, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
• Ensure work adheres to project specifications, plans, and quality standards, and resolve any defects.
• Implement and maintain site‑specific safety plans, conduct orientations and toolbox talks, and investigate incidents.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to coordinate deliveries, inventory, and documentation.
• Resolve site conflicts, technical challenges, and design inconsistencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, productivity, costs, and assist with scheduling and budgeting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising interior construction projects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
