Interim Associate Chief Nurse – Interface Division (12‑month secondment)

About the role

The Interface Division of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking an Interim Associate Chief Nurse for a 12‑month secondment. This senior leadership position will support the Chief Nurse, Director and Senior Management Team as the division drives innovative urgent‑care transformation across Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic nursing leadership across the Interface Division, championing quality improvement and patient‑centred care.
• Support the Chief Nurse and senior managers in planning, implementing and evaluating new care models such as FNC+Plus, Virtual Hospital and Rapid Assessment & Care units.
• Influence and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration between primary and secondary services.
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development and excellence in clinical practice.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within acute nursing.
• Current employee of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde with consent from line manager for secondment.
• Strong influencing, leadership and collaborative working skills.
