In‑House Real Estate Legal Advocate

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous In‑House Legal Advocate to lead all legal matters related to real‑estate redevelopment projects. You will provide strategic counsel, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect the organization’s interests throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate Development Agreements, Permanent Alternate Accommodation Agreements (PAAA), lease deeds and conveyance documents.
• Conduct land‑title due diligence and verify ownership records to mitigate legal risk.
• Prepare and respond to notices, letters and queries from government authorities, housing societies and regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with municipal corporations and revenue authorities.
• Manage dispute resolution, oversee litigation and coordinate with external counsel when required.
• Stay current with evolving real‑estate laws, RERA regulations and redevelopment policies.

Required profile

• LLB or LLM from a recognized university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in real‑estate law, especially redevelopment projects.
• Deep knowledge of property law, RERA, MHADA, municipal regulations and land‑acquisition statutes.
