About the role
Moog India is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Officer and HR Generalist to lead employee‑labor relations in its manufacturing plant. The role blends proactive IR management with core HR operations, ensuring statutory compliance and a positive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Prevent and resolve employee and labor relations issues through proactive engagement and counseling of managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Manage union interactions (UOB), coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain ongoing dialogue with union representatives.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws, maintain statutory registers, and submit required government returns on time.
- Act as primary contact during labor inspections, audits, and statutory inquiries.
- Oversee HR administration functions including attendance, canteen, transportation, security, and housekeeping services.
- Handle temporary staffing for Plant 2, monitor overtime and night‑shift records, and coordinate inputs to payroll.
- Support defined Learning & Development initiatives aligned to plant needs.
- Plan and execute employee welfare events such as Annual Picnic, Annual Day, Sports Day, and recognition programs.
- Promote two‑way communication to strengthen employee engagement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Master’s qualification preferred (MBA‑HR, MSW, Industrial Relations, Behavioral Sciences).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial relations and HR generalist functions within a manufacturing environment.
