Indirect Tax Analyst – Global Finance Operations

About the role

The Indirect Tax Analyst will join NIQ's Global Finance Operations team, supporting day‑to‑day indirect tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Indirect Tax Manager, the role ensures accurate filings, manages third‑party providers, and helps drive process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily global indirect tax reporting and ensure timely, accurate filings.
• Maintain compliance with local, regional, and international indirect tax regulations.
• Coordinate with outsourced providers to deliver high‑quality tax filings.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update NIQ’s tax practices accordingly.
• Collaborate with the Indirect Tax Manager and finance team on broader tax strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• Professional tax or accounting certification (CPA, CTA, CMA) required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect tax within a multinational or finance‑operations environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
