IB Early Years Homeroom Teacher / Montessori Trained Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a caring, creative, and enthusiastic teacher to join our IB Early Years Programme in Jaipur. The role involves creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where young learners thrive through play‑based, inquiry‑driven experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the school’s Early Years and IB philosophy.
• Foster inquiry, exploration, creativity, and problem‑solving through play‑based learning.
• Support early literacy, numeracy, communication, social, emotional, and motor skill development.
• Integrate music, movement, storytelling, art, and sensory activities into daily lessons.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self‑expression in children.
• Use formative assessment strategies to inform planning and instruction.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate outcomes to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and programme implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Teaching qualification (B.Ed., D.El.Ed., Montessori, ECCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Pre‑Primary, Kindergarten, Nursery, or Early Years settings.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood pedagogy.
