HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will join the engineering & facilities team at a resort in Vagator Beach, Goa. You will respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and filter changes.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines; carry necessary tools and radios.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handovers.
• Execute basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, lighting, and guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and landscaping tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Ability to work safely, follow company policies, and complete required safety training.
• Physical capability to lift/move objects up to 50 lb and assist with heavier items.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong guest‑service orientation.
