Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will work on‑site in Kochi, supporting the full employee lifecycle for a fast‑growing renewable‑energy engineering firm. This full‑time position focuses on day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with Indian labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Administer HR policies and maintain accurate employee records.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
• Manage employee benefits enrollment, updates, and communication.
• Support performance‑management activities and handle attendance, leave, and disciplinary procedures.
• Collaborate with managers to resolve employee concerns and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
• Prepare HR reports, assist with training programs, and contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Strong foundation in HR operations and personnel management.
• Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a technical environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
