Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Officer to join our team in Kochi. The role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, onboarding new hires, and supporting day‑to‑day HR operations. You will work closely with managers to ensure compliance and foster a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring processes.
• Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and induction programs.
• Maintain and update HRMS, personnel files, attendance, and leave records.
• Assist in payroll preparation by gathering attendance, overtime, and statutory inputs.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
• Support performance management processes including appraisal coordination.
• Handle employee engagement initiatives and grievance redressal.
• Prepare HR reports such as manpower status, attrition, and recruitment updates.
• Coordinate training & development programs for staff skill enhancement.
• Provide administrative support related to HR policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum MBA in Human Resources.
• At least 2 years of experience in human resources management.
• Fluent in English (required) and Hindi (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
