Human Resources Manager (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead end‑to‑end HR operations for our IT software company in Ranchi. The role involves overseeing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and supporting growth through effective people management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate experience.
• Collaborate with department heads for manpower planning and maintain recruitment trackers.
• Oversee onboarding, documentation verification, induction, and orientation for new hires.
• Maintain employee records, HR databases, attendance, leave, and generate HR letters.
• Administer monthly payroll using Zoho People and Zoho Payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS and labor law filings.
• Develop, update and communicate HR policies, SOPs and employee handbook.
• Address employee grievances, support performance appraisal cycles and drive engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the IT/software sector.
• Proven ability to manage the full employee lifecycle and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of statutory regulations (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS) and payroll processing.
• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition and workforce planning.
• Ability to design and implement HR policies and handle employee relations.
• Proficiency with Zoho People and Zoho Payroll is highly desirable.
