About the role
The Human Resource Executive will support Marriott International’s Kolkata team by assisting with employee relations, recruitment compliance, and day‑to‑day HR operations. This full‑time, onsite position works closely with management and the leadership team to ensure a positive workplace environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and track employee relations issues, providing resolution and follow‑up.
- Assist management with handling HR matters, including hiring, training, evaluation, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Disseminate information on employer‑employee relations, activities, and personnel policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including interview documents and I‑9 forms.
- Support logistics and administration of annual employee surveys.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and provide professional communication.
- Uphold company safety, security, and confidentiality standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related HR work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
