HR Specialist – Unlocking Potential (Gurgaon/Mumbai)

About the role

Boston Consulting Group is looking for an HR Specialist to lead its Unlocking Potential (BCG UP) initiatives across India. Based in Mumbai (with responsibilities also covering Gurgaon), you will partner with senior leaders to drive culture, values and wellbeing programs that support a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of BCG UP and other firm‑wide culture and wellbeing initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative HR metrics, generate insights and produce regular outcome reports for leadership.
• Assist in drafting and revising HR policies, internal communications and organisational development projects.
• Maintain and update master databases, ensuring data accuracy and timely communication with senior stakeholders.
• Represent BCG in external forums, panels and industry engagements.
• Provide weekly insights to the India Leadership Team, highlighting high‑risk areas and emerging trends.
• Identify patterns in data over time and translate them into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate certificate in HR (preferred).
• 4‑6 years of HR experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Self‑starter, target‑oriented and comfortable working with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
