HR Internship in Mumbai

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in the Human Resources function of a fast‑growing quick‑commerce startup. You will support end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll coordination, and compliance activities while gaining exposure to HR operations in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft job descriptions and post vacancies on relevant portals.
• Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and conduct telephonic pre‑screening assessments.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain the applicant tracking system and update candidate records.
• Collect offer letter acknowledgements and KYC documents from selected candidates.
• Conduct induction sessions and ensure new hires receive tools, materials, and system access.
• Deliver stage‑wise training materials, monitor progress, and record training queries.
• Verify completion of mandatory training before deployment to live projects.
• Collect and validate attendance, leave, and timesheet records.
• Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate salary processing and support PF, ESIC, and gratuity compliance.
• Maintain compliance records, assist with background verification, and manage employee files and HR databases.
• Address employee queries related to attendance, leave policies, and HR procedures.
• Draft HR communications, assist in performance review coordination, and support ad‑hoc HR projects.
