HR Generalist – Performance Management & HRBP Support

About the role

The HR Generalist – Performance Management & HRBP Support will partner closely with the HR Business Partner team to ensure fair, consistent, and principle‑based people practices across Koch Capabilities India. You will help leaders drive a high‑performing environment while balancing employee experience and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support HR Business Partners in managing employee performance cases across multiple functions.
• Coach people leaders on performance management processes, feedback delivery, difficult conversations, and documentation, including Performance Improvement Plans.
• Track performance cases to ensure timely action plans, progress reviews, and proper closure.
• Manage employee relations matters such as workplace conflicts, behavioral concerns, misconduct reviews, and policy‑related issues.
• Conduct formal investigations, maintain accurate confidential documentation, and partner with ER and HR Compliance to issue show‑cause notices, warning letters, and support disciplinary actions.
• Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies, values, and workplace expectations.
• Assist with broader HRBP duties including leader partnership, talent discussions, employee development initiatives, and HR process execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or HR Business Partner support roles.
• Solid understanding of performance management, employee relations practices, and workplace conduct standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and coaching abilities.
• Proven capability to collaborate with and influence leaders across levels and functions.
• Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
