HR Generalist – People Operations for Startup & Warehouse

About the role

Ludic is seeking an HR Generalist who will own people operations for a small, fast‑moving corporate team and a warehouse/skilled‑labour workforce. The role blends strategic recruitment, compliance, performance management and day‑to‑day HR administration in a hands‑on environment.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end hiring for corporate and warehouse positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer rollout.
• Design and implement a low‑friction onboarding experience tailored to creative staff and warehouse employees.
• Set up and run a lightweight goal‑setting and KPI framework, conduct regular check‑ins and coach managers on feedback.
• Maintain statutory compliance for the labour workforce (PF, ESIC, minimum wages, shops & establishment, labour law registers).
• Manage attendance, leave, payroll inputs, exits and full‑and‑final settlements; keep HR MIS trackers and report key metrics.
• Act as a trusted point of connection for employees, identify flight risks early and drive engagement initiatives.
• Lead a small HR/admin team and coordinate closely with warehouse supervisors.

Required profile

• Hands‑on professional comfortable interacting with both a young creative team and warehouse staff.
• Proven ability to build HR processes and systems from a blank slate.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for compliance and documentation.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities to support managers and employees.
