HR Business Partner – Employee Relations & Performance

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor on employee relations, disciplinary processes and performance management for our Hyderabad office. Working closely with function heads and managers, you will help create a fair, consistent and legally compliant workplace while promoting a culture of respect and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances, workplace issues and conflict resolution, conducting thorough investigations with confidentiality and impartiality.
• Manage the end‑to‑end disciplinary process, including documentation, fact‑finding, hearings, performance improvement plans and terminations, ensuring alignment with company policies and labour law.
• Review, update and audit employee‑relations policies, disciplinary frameworks and grievance procedures to maintain compliance with local regulations.
• Build trusted partnerships with function heads, advising on organisational design, workforce planning and change initiatives while mitigating people‑related risks.
• Support employee‑experience initiatives such as engagement surveys, action planning and culture‑building activities that enhance trust and retention.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in employee relations, grievance management, workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
• High emotional intelligence with excellent conflict‑resolution, influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Analytical mindset to interpret ER trends and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
