Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that guest areas are clean, well‑maintained and that service standards are consistently met. Working closely with the housekeeping team, the supervisor coordinates daily tasks, supports guests with special needs, and acts as a role model for quality and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist team members to guarantee proper coverage and prompt guest service.
• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and provide courteous farewells.
• Support guests with disabilities by offering assistance such as escorting, explaining actions, and providing accessible communication tools.
• Engage guests in conversation about their stay, property services and local attractions.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors, using professional language and discreet discussion of work matters.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette, including prompt response, name usage, call transfer and message taking.
• Assign tasks, monitor completion, and ensure work meets quality standards.
• Mentor and motivate hourly employees, fostering responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Ensure staff have necessary supplies, equipment and training on company values and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain efficient operations.
