Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor leads daily cleaning operations in a luxury hotel, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate with the Front Office, manage a team of attendants, and uphold guest satisfaction through meticulous service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule daily cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, public and service areas.
• Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits to meet luxury hospitality standards.
• Coordinate room readiness with Front Office for arrivals and departures.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and VIP room preparations promptly.
• Train, motivate and coach housekeeping staff; conduct daily briefings.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline and performance.
• Manage inventory of supplies, amenities, cleaning chemicals and linen; coordinate laundry needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene SOPs; report maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
• 2–4 years of housekeeping experience in hotels, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
