Housekeeping Executive

About the role

Fairmont Udaipur Palace is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Executive to join its pre‑opening team. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas and support spaces meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily briefings with floor staff and supervise all team tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to established standards.
• Supervise public areas, replenish guest supplies, and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Report and document any damage or malfunction in rooms and keep equipment clean.
• Prepare and update section floor reports, conduct regular room checklists, and record accurate room status.
• Report unusual behaviour on floors to the Executive Housekeeper and assist in assessing staff attendance and performance.
• Follow fire, life‑safety and emergency procedures, attend all briefings, meetings and trainings.
• Maintain a professional appearance and foster effective employee relationships.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written proficiency in English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar housekeeping supervisory role.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English communication.
