Hiring Partner & Talent Evaluator (Strategic Hiring Role)

About the role

Mate Technologies is seeking a high‑judgment Hiring Partner to lead talent acquisition on behalf of the founder. This strategic role focuses on identifying and securing candidates who are deeply aligned with the company’s culture, responsibilities, and long‑term vision. It is not a traditional HR operations or payroll position.

Key responsibilities

• Execute alignment‑driven hiring processes, rejecting skilled candidates who do not fit the role.
• Apply founder‑provided requirements, skill sets, evaluation criteria, and sample questions to streamline hiring.
• Conduct independent interviews and assess candidates on skill depth, clarity of thinking, ownership, accountability, and communication.
• Prepare evidence‑based evaluation reports with clear hiring recommendations.
• Reduce founder interview time while maintaining or improving hiring quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on hiring or recruiting experience.
• Strong evaluation and questioning abilities beyond basic CV screening.
• Ability to judge candidate alignment and execution potential, not just confidence.
• Clear written communication and structured thinking.
• High ethical standards with no shortcuts or favoritism.
