About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the Structures discipline for Surbana Jurong in India and the Global Design Centre. The role combines technical leadership, business development and people management to deliver high‑quality structural engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction on complex structural engineering assignments across India and the GDC.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, design standards and ensure technical excellence.
• Drive on‑time delivery, quality compliance, budget adherence and client satisfaction.
• Support business development activities including proposals, fee estimates and client presentations.
• Develop resource plans, manage utilization and participate in hiring senior technical staff.
• Contribute to financial performance through margin improvement, cost control and productivity enhancement.
• Lead and develop the structural design team across residential, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing structural design teams and delivering projects in multiple market sectors.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and design processes.
• Track record of supporting business development and financial management.
