Head of Strategy

About the role

The Head of Strategy will lead Tata Technologies' enterprise‑wide strategic planning, growth initiatives, and long‑term value creation across engineering services, digital manufacturing, and EdTech verticals. Reporting to a senior executive leader, the role partners closely with CXOs and business heads to translate bold corporate visions into measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual and long‑range strategic planning cycles, including 3‑5 year business plans.
• Translate corporate vision into actionable initiatives across business units.
• Drive enterprise‑wide priorities such as growth platforms, digital transformation, and margin improvement.
• Develop strategic frameworks, business cases, and decision‑support material for leadership.
• Conduct deep market, industry, and competitive intelligence analyses.
• Identify emerging technologies and new business model opportunities.
• Support M&A, partnership, and alliance evaluations, including target screening and synergy assessments.
• Track execution of strategic initiatives, establish KPIs, dashboards, and review mechanisms.
• Partner with business leaders to resolve execution challenges and course‑correct as needed.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations for Board, Executive Committee, and leadership reviews.

Required profile

• MBA from a premier institute (Strategy, Finance, or Operations preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, or business planning within large engineering, IT, or related organizations.
• Exposure to engineering services, automotive, aerospace, or ER&D domains.
• Strong stakeholder influence without direct authority.
