Head of Ready Mix Concrete Operations

About the role

Refex Group is looking for a seasoned professional to lead its Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) division, with a strong focus on fly‑ash‑based concrete. The role involves end‑to‑end responsibility for setting up, operating, and continuously improving RMC plants and batching facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of new RMC and batching plants (greenfield and brownfield).
• Plan and optimise raw‑material mixes, including cement, fly ash, aggregates, and admixtures.
• Oversee daily production, ensuring quality, safety, and on‑time delivery.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality‑control protocols.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing technical and operations team.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, logistics partners, and internal functions such as procurement, finance, and project management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in the RMC sector with proven leadership exposure.
• Hands‑on experience in both greenfield and brownfield plant projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in fly‑ash utilisation and concrete mix design.
• Strong project‑management, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
