Head of Indirect Sourcing – Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Head of Indirect Sourcing will lead the end‑to‑end indirect procurement function for TEPL across its EMS and semiconductor manufacturing sites and corporate offices worldwide. This senior leadership position is responsible for building a scalable sourcing organisation that covers technology, infrastructure and all other indirect spend, while delivering cost competitiveness, compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise‑wide indirect sourcing strategy aligned with business ramp‑up, project timelines and cost targets.
• Consolidate indirect spend, drive category transformation and maximise leverage across locations.
• Establish governance, policies and operating rhythms for EMS and semiconductor businesses.
• Own sourcing for IT hardware, enterprise software, SaaS applications and professional IT services, partnering with IT leadership on vendor consolidation and negotiations.
• Lead sourcing for non‑plant infrastructure such as hostels, townships, vendor parks, logistics parks and common utilities.
• Oversee procurement of professional services, consulting, HR, legal, travel, facilities, real estate and other indirect supplies.
• Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, finance, HR and project teams, leveraging sourcing tools for transparency and performance management.
• Drive data‑driven decision‑making through spend visibility, analytics and supplier performance metrics.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of progressive experience in indirect sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain roles.
• Strong, proven experience in IT sourcing, infrastructure sourcing and standard indirect categories.
• Exposure to the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Deep expertise in sourcing IT hardware, software and services.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in complex negotiations and contract structuring.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale a sourcing organisation.
