Head of Human Resources – Luxury Fashion Group

About the role

As the dedicated HR leader for a group of seven luxury fashion businesses, you will own the end‑to‑end hiring process and build the HR function from the ground up. Your first priority is ensuring every business has the right talent at the right time, while establishing policies, processes and a future HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end hiring for all businesses, from sales associates and stylists to tailors, online staff and back‑office roles.
• Set up HR structures, processes and systems from scratch and lead a small HR team as the group grows.
• Design and deliver structured onboarding and product‑knowledge training for new joiners.
• Partner with accounts to ensure accurate payroll, incentives and statutory deductions.
• Maintain employment contracts, offer letters and full‑and‑final settlements while ensuring compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, Shops & Establishments and POSH Act.
• Establish a regular performance review cycle, salary bands and sales incentive structures.
• Act as the first point of contact for staff concerns, grievances and disciplinary matters, track attrition and run exit interviews.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, luxury, hospitality or other frontline‑heavy businesses.
• Proven track record of high‑volume hiring for frontline staff, skilled craftspeople and professionals.
• Familiarity with fashion roles such as consultants and merchandisers and understanding of luxury retail operations.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience setting up HR processes as an early hire in a growing organisation.
• Organised, discreet, fair and trusted by both staff and leadership.
• Fluent in English and Hindi; Telugu is an advantage.
• Post‑graduate qualification in HR is a plus.
