Head of Fundraising

About the role

CodeYogi Foundation is scaling its AI‑driven coding education platform for underserved students across India. The Head of Fundraising will design and execute a multi‑year fundraising strategy to secure the resources needed to reach 10 lakh learners by 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own a 12‑24 month fundraising plan covering CSR, foundations, government, HNI and retail channels.
• Maintain a prioritized pipeline of 30+ prospects and run weekly pipeline reviews with the Founder and monthly board updates.
• Personally cultivate and close institutional gifts, managing the full cycle from lead to proposal, closing, stewardship and renewal.
• Build and oversee donor reporting, renewal strategies and compliance with CSR, Section 8 and potential FCRA requirements.
• Represent CodeYogi at funder meetings, sector convenings, board fundraising committees and partner events.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of fundraising, development or resource mobilisation experience in a non‑profit, social enterprise or comparable organisation.
• At least 2‑3 years in a function‑building or leadership‑adjacent role.
• Proven track record of securing multi‑crore funding and managing donor pipelines.
• Experience working with CSR, foundations, government grants or high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Comfort with board‑level reporting and compliance requirements.
