Head of Finance – Lead Finance Function & Strategic Initiatives

About the role

The Head of Finance will own the end‑to‑end finance function, ensuring accurate financial closures, robust MIS, and compliance across India and international subsidiaries. This senior leader will also provide financial insight for strategic initiatives such as fund raising and new market entry.

Key responsibilities

• Drive timely quarterly and year‑end closures under Ind AS and prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Own statutory, tax, and other audit processes, ensuring minimal observations.
• Produce monthly MIS with channel‑wise revenue, margin and profitability analysis, and deliver data‑backed insights.
• Manage accounting, bookkeeping and statutory compliance for US and UK subsidiaries, including VAT, sales tax and corporate income tax.
• Oversee GST, income tax, TDS, transfer pricing documentation and related compliance.
• Support fund‑raising processes, financial due diligence, investor relations and valuation discussions.
• Lead budgeting, cash‑flow planning, working‑capital management and strengthen internal controls and ERP processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); CPA/ACCA or other international accounting qualification is a plus.
• 12–15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in a consumer/D2C/e‑commerce business with international operations.
• Proven track record in managing statutory audits, tax compliance and cross‑border financial reporting.
