Head of Corporate Communications

About the role

SRMB Group, a leading steel and construction materials company, is seeking a senior communications leader to own and shape its corporate narrative across all stakeholder groups. Reporting directly to the promoter office and senior leadership, this high‑trust position will influence how the group is perceived by government, industry bodies, media, employees, dealers, customers, lenders and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and standardise the corporate narrative, company profile, leadership messaging, boilerplate, fact sheets, presentations and institutional documents.
• Draft speeches, talking points, LinkedIn posts, media quotes, event notes, town‑hall messages, press releases, articles and stakeholder communications for directors and senior leaders.
• Create high‑quality presentations, one‑page briefs and corporate documents for government departments, banks, dealers, partners and consultants.
• Build and manage relationships with media, trade publications, business journalists, industry magazines and PR partners.
• Identify and secure opportunities for SRMB to be featured in steel, infrastructure, manufacturing, sustainability and family‑business platforms.
• Own the LinkedIn and corporate digital communication strategy, coordinating with agencies for website, video, photography and brand content.
• Design structured internal communication flows across corporate offices, plants, sales teams and leadership.
• Ensure all communications reflect SRMB’s scale, legacy, manufacturing strength, product capability, sustainability initiatives and institutional credibility.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in corporate communications, reputation management, leadership communication, PR, media relations or corporate affairs.
• Proven ability to handle senior‑level stakeholders and exercise discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong writing skills with the capacity to craft speeches, articles, press releases and executive messages.
• Deep understanding of the steel, manufacturing or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Experience working closely with senior leadership and promoter offices.
